Kids

Wow it has been a long time I need to get better at doing this. I feel like that there has not been a lot going in. I am trying to figure out if Alex and Becca have alergys all year long. November I will be taking them off there medications and see if they have a runny nose. I have not been able to get Becca to stop having a runny nose. I am wondering if there is something in my house that is making them sick, but who knows.
Sunday our home teacher was over and he was outside with me and telling me what to do with our wasp problem. Issac was yelling at me telling me that I needed to come in and help him. I found out that Lizzy had a bloody mouth. I got the blood to stop and then found out that she had bitten her mouth. After talking to her the next day I found out that she had been jumping on Becc's bed and fell on the wooden frame and hit her mouth. so is now doing better. Thank goodness I was worried.
Alex nad Lizzy have been getting into puzzles a lot I got Alex a 60 peice puzzle and he can do it so I am going go get him a 100 peice puzzle for Christams. Alex would have me play Thomas memory game all day everyday. He is also learing how to read his teacher gave him a book to read and when I felt that he read it good enouigh then they would send home another book. He has been wispering at school now. YAH!!! I keep telling him that everyday he needs to talk louder so his teacher can hear him. I think that it helps that he has the same speach and aids in the room. We will have to see how he does next year when in Kindergarten.
Lizzy had been trying to read like Alex too. I would read with him when he is waiting for the bus and she would repeat what he was saying. She wants to be like her big brother so much. She likes to talk and talk and talk. She is also into singing and is pretty good at it. She like her borther would play games all day with me. I will tell her and Alex and that need to have lunch and they tell me that they will make me a sandwich. They like to make me a peanutbetter and Jam sandwich it is so cute to see them doing that for me.
Becca is talking up a storm and copies all that you say. We are working with her to get her to close her lips together. I am doing the same with Alex so I have been doing some of the same things with them both. She is such a pritty girl and I just love her. She tells me everyday when she is going down for a nap that I need to read her a storie. We are also trying to potty train her. She has only went in it once. I am not trying to hard becuase I do not really want to. When I tell her that she has to get on she cries and then she is ok.

Day Two Of Exercise

I have made an effort to exercise again. I have been thinking that I would hurt my chances on getting pregnant if I did exercise, but I just decided that I need to do it so I will be more happy with my body. I have gained 5 pounds back after I stopped exercising. Can I just say that I am so sore. My legs feel like they are going to fall off. I also have been having sore shoulders to so bad to the point that I can't lift them past a certain point with them hurting super bad. They are so tight and I can feel that they have knots in them and I have knots in my neck too. I was thinking that if I exercised then maybe they all would start feeling better, but they haven't. I am sure that it will just take some time to heal. I think that I could get a massage and they would feel better, but until money grows on trees then I will just have to live with the way that I feel! I was also thinking that "if" I was excising then maybe Issac would start too. I guess only time will tell.

July happnings!

This has been a moth of camping. After we got home from Duck Creek we had about a week and half and then it was off to another camping trip with all of Issac's extended family. His greandparents had rented a house for all 75 people to stay in. It was really nice. All of the adults had bed or air matteress to sleep on. We shared a room with his sister Suzie and brother in law Jared and there son Jacob. It was nice to share a room with them we get along great! We put both of our babies in a huge walk in closet in there play pins. Becca would freek out and then I would end up holding her and putting her to sleep for the nights that we were there. When it was nap time I would put her in my bed and I would sleep with her and get a nap in my self so that was nice. Some of Issac's reltives brought some hourses so the kids had fun riding them. I thought the kids would freek out when I wanted them to ride them, but they did really good. Lizzy didn't like it when the hourse wanted to trot so we had to get her off. It was fun for me to be on a hourse again. When I was growing up in ID my neibor had hourses and we would get to ride them. I could not get Issac to ride one though too bad for him he was missing out on so much fun.

I was home for 5 days when I was going to have to be at girls camp. We got home on Wendsaday and I had to start laundry and get ready for camp. The next day I had to go visiting teaching and then I had to go and buy all the food for girls camp. We then had Issac's sister's family and his mom over for dinner we ordered pizza that made it easy for me. Friday and Saturday I had to work. I also worked on Monday. Then Tuesday it was off to camp. We had 23 girls go and it was sooooo fun. I look forward to going next year.

While I was at camp my father in law had his hip replaced and found out that he has a ceasure while having the surgery. I also found out that my husbands grandfather had a tumer on his badder and had that removed. I then talked to my kids on the phone so as you can imagin I was really sad. I felt like I was needed in two places, but I knew that it would be ok if I stayed at girls camp. I felt like the girls would make me feel better and they did. We had a coupple of sister who would like to wander off and not tells us where they were going so that was had, but over all the girls were great! They would do anything that they were asked to do.

Now in a few weeks it will be the ward campout that we have to do. We have made it eaiser on us this year and asked families to help us out so we do not have to do all of the cooking and bring up all the cooking stuff for camping. They get to bring it up. I will be gald when I can get my life back and not have lots of things to do.

Duck Creek

Last week from Thursday-Sunday we went camping at Duck Creek. It is just outside of Ceader City. The place we camped was really pretty and had lots of trees. It was only $10.00 a night and it had flush toilets and running water in the bathroom, but there was no soap. You can not expect to have everything right? I would say that the drinking water was not the best so I would bring water if you would go there. We were camping there because Issac is in charge of his family's reunion next year and we wanted to see how nice it was. We walked all around the camp sight to see what we liked so when we got home we could reserve it. The best part about the camping trip was that you didn't have to spray bug spray because there were not that many bugs. That made me happy knowing that I would be there that long and not have a shower I would not have to be dealing with the stickiness of the bug spray. The only bad thing that I have to say about the place is that they have many squires and they are so brazen that they will walk right up to your camp and try and eat things. We were gone one day and the squires ate through my mother-in-laws rubber made container. We had a good laugh about that one. Issac's family use to go there as kids so this place means a lot to them. My mother-in-law use to go there at a little girl too.

For the most part the kids were good. When it came time to go to bed they would like to play for a long time we would have to go in and spank them to go them to go to sleep. I thought that Lizzy would have freaked out about the bugs, but she didn't. Instead she decide that she would be her moody self and grunt the whole time. I thought that I or Issac were going to kill her because she was just being so rude and moody to everyone. She had her share of time outs in the tent so she would be better.

We also went on a lot of hikes and the kids did good. Espically Becca we didn't pack the stroller or the backpack so she was on her own to walk most of the time. When it would get really steep then Issac would put her on his shoulders. I think that she liked that even though she didn't say anything. While we were loading the car the stubbed my toe and it got swollen and I was limping wile I was there. Let me tell you how much fun that was. I am looking forward to going there next year. Sorry I didn't really take any photos so I have none to post.

4th Of July

We had my step father in law Howard, my mother in law Kathy, and my bother in law Tony over for a bbq. My mother in law Kathy was kind enough to buy some fireworks to light off. The kids had fun watching them. It was chilly outside so I got Becca and Alex a blanket I also ended up getting Lizzy one later too. Tony and Issac would light them off at the same time so it would go faster. Thanks to my mother in law for the fireworks. Hope you all had a great holiday.

Going to Idaho Falls ID

A few weeks ago I went to ID to spend some time with my mom. She was going to watch my kids, but I asked if she would be willing to help me make a blanket she said that she would. I have been re-molding Alex room and have been doing John Deer theme for his room so We found some material that we thought that would make a cute blanket for his bed. I still need to tie it, but I think that it looks cute. He is too little so he had no idea that this is for him which I am glad that I can still get away with it. I am guessing that this is my last year that I will be able to get away doing this. I took the kids to the zoo and to play on the toys at Tauph Park. They had a blast! It was good to get away and spend some time in ID. I really miss it and wiash that I could move there.

Fathers Day!

I think that Issac had a good Fathers Day. He had bought him self a attachment to go on the weed whacker. I still wanted to get him something else so I bought him Avatar. He loves that movie. I made him french toast for breakfast and gave him the cards that the kids made for him. After church we went to Issac's brothers house to have dinner with his mom and step dad. We had a fun BBQ. We then went to Issac's dad's house to have scones. It had been a while sense we had seen him and his wife Sharlee. we ended up getting there about 7:45 and then we ended up not leaving for home until 9:30 the kids were tired, but they didn't sleep all the way home. That was really surprising to me I would have thought that they would have went to sleep.

Now we are in ID and the kids are having fun. we went to the zoo today with my sister and two sister-in-laws. We made a picnic and let the kids play on some toys. They had lots of fun except Alex would not go potty because the flushing was too loud and scared him. I am making a John Deer Tractor blanket for him with my mom. I am going to give it to him for his birthday. we bought him some extra material that my mom is going to make him an apron out of. He keeps telling me that he wants to have an apron to ware when I cook Lizzy has one so I am going to give my mom hers to use as a guide for his. I am so thankfull that she will do this for me. I know that he will be happy.
