We had a fun Christmas at home. We had Issac's mom and step dad with us. They spent the night before at our house. I was working at the Olive Garden all day until 8:00 P.M. on Christmas Eve. Issac said that he recived a knock at the door and went to answer it to find out that someone had left a gift card to Walmart at our door. We have no idea who it was, but what a blessing it was. Someone must have knowen that we needed it. I wanted to cry. It is just another testimoney to me that if you pay your tithing then you will be blessed. On Christmas Day we had Issac's brothers family over. We ate lunch, put a puzzle together and played games. We recived about one foot of snow for the whole day. It was deffently a white Christmas for us! I was glad that I didn't have to drive in that weather. We asked the kids if they had a fun Christmas and Lizzy said "I did"! We had to laugh becuase we thought it was funny. We had never really heard her talk like that before.

First Post

We had a new addition to our family this year. Rebecca Lorranie Rands was born on Saturday, August 30th. She was another C-Section. Everything went well she was 21.5” long and was 6lbs 12 ounces. We had been asked by my dr. if I would like to have my tubes tied before the surgery and we told him no, but while we were having the surgery he told us that we would not be able to have any more kids. He told me that my cervix was almost see though and if I were to have any more kids there could be a chance that me and or the next baby could die. That was very hard for us to take in because we felt like we wanted to have another baby. As I laid there holding my baby a tear fell from my eye down my cheek because I was thinking that this was going to be the last one that I would be able to have. I was very great full that Heavenly Father had blessed us with 3 childern and I thought that maybe that was all that we were suppose to have. She has acid reflux and we had to try 5 different formulas before we could find one that would work. We just love her very much.
Elizabeth is now getting so big she is almost as big as her 3 year old brother Alex. I take them to the store and get asked all the time if they are twins. I tell them no she will be 2 in January and he is 3. She has been a BIG help to Alex she has been helping him to speak more. She is using 2 words when talking. She likes to body slam Alex and help mom with her baby sister. She love going to nursery at church and singing just like her mom.
Alexander is now 3 and loves going to Pre School 2 times a week for 2 hours. The bus from the local school district comes and gets him and brings him home. He has 4 students in his class and a few aids so he gets one on one teaching most of the time. He is working with a speech teacher 30 minuets a week which has really helped him. He tires so hard to tell me what he wants, but is not really able to all of the time. Last year he was tested for Cornella De Lang syndrome and we are still waiting for the results to come back. The lady at the hospital in Philadelphia that was doing the test went on maternity leave so we have to wait for her to come back and finish.
Issac is still working for ACS and likes his job. He and I are on the activities committee in our ward. He just got released from his other calling, but they have not given him another calling yet. We have made some home improvements to our house this year. We added more sod to our back yard and got rid of lots of planter boxes and planted seed in the fount yard. I have gone back to work for around 6 months to help pay for the babies dr. bills. I am working at the Olive Garden 4 days a week and I am also selling Pampered Chef. If you would like to do a party let me know. I will give you a free gift for doing a party! I am the visiting teaching supervisor in my ward and love the calling. It is sad how the members do not feel like they need to do there visiting teaching. I know that we are put together with the sister that we are suppose to be with and that we are visiting the sister that God wants us to visit. How nice is it that we are hear and that we can help others by sharing a message with them. We get to be the angles for those here on earth just like one of the apostles said that this past general conference. I know that this church is true and that “we can get closer to God” by reading the Book Of Mormon and doing the things that we learn on the pages. It is so great to have a living prophet Thomas S. Monson on the earth today leading us and teaching us what we need to know so that we can be more Christ like.
