Family What's Going On!

Not much to say, but felt like I should write something. I talked with Alex ENT nurce yesterday and we are going to go and see him next month. He will do a hearing test first and then he will see the dr. I hope to get some good results and know what we can do to help Alex hear. If I have to do hearing aids I will be fine with that. I have sent out an email to his other dr asking if he think that all of his ENT problems are related to the syndrom that he may have. I have not heard back yet. I hope to soon.
We are all sick with colds or strep so you will not want to come and see us. I guess that Lizzy is the lucky one she has not gotten sick. Alex HATES! the tast of his medication so he wants to spit it out, but I told him that he can't. I knew that he had strep when he woke up and cried that his legg was hurting. This has been about the 3rd or 4th time that he has told me this and then I knew that he had strep because that is one of the signs. Eventhough Becca is not feeling good you would not know it she is beving very happy. I just love her and the fact that when she is sick she will not really show it.
Alex is still not taking in school or closing the back of his mouth so I will keep working with him. i do love him and would not trade him for anything. I love that Elizabth is such a polite girl and will say thank you about everything. Like thanks for letting me have lunch. How cute is that!

Alexanders hearing test.

What a good day Alex did wonderfull on his hearing test. He still failed on his Right Ear, but at lest we my know what the problem is and how we can fix it. He can not hear very good in the inner ear. The women doing the testing was telling me that he might have a rotten bone or his bones could be fused together. He will need to have x-rays taken to see what the problem is and he will eaither have to have surgery to take the bone out or unfuze the bones. If they take the bone out then they will have to replace it with something else. If the dr. does not think that there is anything wrong with the bone then he will have to get a hearing aid.
We will have to see his ENT to get more answers, but non the less he was a good sport to put up with the testing. He is so good to let the dr.'s do what they need to do to him to understand what is wrong with him. My special little boy I love him so much! I would not trade him for anything.

YA!!!!

So Alex was feeling sick so I took him to the dr. today and I was so happy to see that he has no more fluid on his ears. He got another sinus infection, but I was soooooooooooooooooo happy to know that the fluid was gone in his ear. He will have to take a nasle spray for 2 months, but that is much better then worring that he has fluid on his ear. I hope that this will help him to be able to hear better and threrfore talk better. I now am going to take him to have his ears tested and see if he can pass. I will keep you posted.

Random picks of the kids!

Here are some random photos of the kids. I took most of these picks 2 weeks ago.

Old/New livingroom T.V. Stand

We decied that we would cut the top of the T.V. stand off so we could mount the T.V. on the wall. We think that it looks nice. It makes that part of the room look so much bigger like we have more room.

Every day life!

Well Alex is finally starting to get better. He still sneezes from time to time when I give him his nose drops. I have found that when I do my cleaning in the morning and have time to play with the kids in the afternoon then they do not want to get into things and be naughty. If I keep playing games with them then they are sooooooo happy which in turn makes me happy. We got them 4 games for Christmas Candy Land, Micky Mouse uno, Micky Mouse Yazee, and Shoots and Ladders. They like to play them all the time. I play with them when Becca is in bed so she will not get mad because she can't play. We have also been playing with them when we have "Family Night" It is good to see that no matter who wins they are all happy because we played with them.
I am glad that it will be spring soon so I can let the kids go outside and not get muddy or cold while playing. I am so glad that we have been working so hard to get our debt paid off. We got our taxes back and were able to pay off two credit cards and only have one left. We are hoping to pay that one off with Issac's next pay check. We then will work on paying off the van and then I will be able to quit my job and be home with the family. That will be nice I know that my kids miss me when I am working, but I know that Issac does a great job raising them. We have then decide that we will not buy anything if we do not have the money we will have to save up to buy the thing that we think that we need.
We have lots of camping trips planed for the summer and can't wait until they get started. We are going to be camping with Issac's grandparents and lots of extended family in July. The next week I have girls camp for a week and later in the year we will be going to a cabin with all of my brothers and sisters. We have rented a cabin so that will be so much fun. Two of my sister in laws are having babies this year so it will be nice for them to have a bed to sleep in. In August we will be doing our wards camp out we are still looking for a place to go to that will sleep 100 people.
