Getting to know Issac and Brooke

1. When is your "engagement" anniversary: Official engament I am not really sure, because we knew that we wanted to get married shortly after dating, but we were married in September of the same year that we started dating.

9. Do you have any house pets: nope we had Issac's sisters dog for a little while and after that we knew that we were not cut out for havening a pet yet. We have to many young kids.

14. When did you first kiss? I can't remember, but we had been dating for a while and he decided one night while we were talking at my car and watching the planes go by that he was going to do it. He was really shy and I was only the second girl that he had kissed. Lucky for me :).

How long did you know each other before you started dating? well Issac was living in Demoin Iowa and wated to start talking to me on line so I decieded that I would talk to him, but then his job ended and I joked with him that he needed to move to UT and he was able to get a job in Sandy, UT so we talked to 6 months and then started dating when he moved here.
23. Who asked who out? he sent me an email saying that he wanted to meet me, but I had to break up with a boy first.
24. How old are each of you? 33 and 36 (in December)
25.Where do you each work or go to school? Issac works for ACS and I work at the Olive Garden
26. Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple? I would have to say that because I have to work it is hard on us to be apart and that he has to watch the kids 3 nights a week.

31.Where do you eat out most as a couple? Our first date was to Applebese, but we eat any place.

35. Who does the cooking? mostly me I will cook when I am home, but when I work I make a cacaseroll for him to throw in the oven.
36. Who is more social? I would have to say that we both are.

38. Who is more stubborn? that is a toss up, but if you were to ask him he would say that I am.

40. Who wakes up earlier? Who waks up or gets out of bed. If he does not have to get out of bed he will sleep in and I get up with the kids.

50. Leave a piece of advice for the other couples. Last Sunday when we went to the deacation at the new temple someone said (I am sorry I can't remember who said this), but they said that you should have a picture of the temple in your kids rooms by there beds so when you are praying or talking with them they can see it. I never thought about before.

Please Mom!

Today I was watching the foodnet work Chanel and they were showing a commercial for Kraft easy mac. Alex said to me "Mom can we go to Walmart and buy some mac and cheese please mom can we" I told him no. He then came and sat buy me and said "Mom can I spank your butt please mom". I had to laugh at him he is talking so much and doing a great job. He will be back to school on Tuesday. He says that he is glad to be going back to see his teacher. He will enjoy the us ride too I think. That makes me happy.

I stink!

Today when I was getting Lizzy dressed she told me that I stink. I said I stink ya you stink Mommy. I had to laugh. I guess that I had really bad breath because she covered her mouth and nose. I had to laugh because it was so funny to see her cover her mouth and nose with her little hand.

Today is the day

We told Alex if he would go poop in the toilet then we would buy him "BIG" boy underwear. We took him to Walmart and let him choose the ones that he wanted. He decide that he would get Thomas and Cars. He was so happy. We brought him home and made him go potty and then we put on the underwear. He then told me when we were done that he had to go potty again. YA! How happy was I. Lizzy was sad :( that she didn't get to have her "BIG" girl underwear, but we told her to do the same as Alex, but she didn't so she doesn't get them yet.

A Few Weeks Ago.... We went to eat some lunch with Issac. We decide that we would go to a Toco Bell. While walking in a guy walked in behind us and held the door open and then said "oh are you having fun with grandpa today". Issac was holding the baby and I guess they thought that he was not the dad due to his gray hair. We had a BIG laugh about that. What could you say to the guy. OH these are our kids? We decided to leave it at that.
