Life How You Gotta Love It!

We have a few days until Alex has his surgery. I will be video tapeing him today to see how he talks and see in a few weeks how he talks. I am also trying to talk to his speech teacher and tell her that I want him to be able to go 4 days next year, but she can not grantee that he will be able to get that. I think that I am going to have to fight with the lady in charge with the program and tell her what I think. He needs to be in the program 4 days a week to help him socially. I am happy that he is able to be in the program because there was going to be a chace that he was not going to be able to be in the program at all. I like what Issac said we pay or taxes too so we should be able to get the 4 days a week. I am not to happy with the government coming in and taking lots of money away from the schools. It is the kids that suffer and they are going to be the ones running our country some day.

We went to Idaho for the weekend to see my baby brother Barry bless his baby, Warren Barry Christensen. I am sure that the blessing was nice, but I could not get Becca to stop crying. We end up having to leave church because she would not stop crying. The drive to ID was so much fun. We had been on the road to about an half hour when our check engine light came on. We pulled off the free way to see that we were low on oil. We went to the nearest gas station to get some and ended up needing to use it all. We had been on the road for about an hour when Issac turned around to look at Becca to see that she was throwing up. She was not making any noise, but it was coming out like a volcano. We finally made it to ID at 9:45. It had only taken us 4 hours instead of 3. The drive back to UT was much better. The kids watched a movie and slept and no one threw up. How ever when we got home Alex told me that he needed to have a bath because he didn't want to smell him poop any more. When Issac was getting him in the bath we realized that he had lots of poop in his underware so I made him clean it out in the toilet. I think that Becca was glad to be him because she kept walking around the house. It was fun to hang out with all the family.

Alexander....Where's my tooth?

This is what Alex looks like after he lost his tooth. (He has been wanting to ware his snow boots latley). I am not sure where his tooth went, but I think that he swolled it because I could not find the tooth any place. There was no blood either. I think that it was a bad tooth. I think that he might have had a cavity, but I would not know because Issac said that we didn't need to add him to our dental insurace this year. You can bet that I am going to make sure that he gets added next year and Lizzy too so they can go to the dentist. I didn't have the tooth fary come either becuase I didn't have a tooth to have him put in water so that is why. He will be having his surgery next week cross our fingers if he gets over what he has right now. I will not be sending him his last few days of school becuase I do not want to get him sick. I have been waiting for a month to do the surgery so I want him to have it next Thursday. Wish him luck! I think that he is going to need it. I just hope and pray that the dr. will do what he needs to do so that Alex will be able to speak better.

MOTHERS DAY!

I had the best day yesterday. As some of you know I have been feeling really crappy. I have been trying to get pregnant and I got a really bad cough and I was not able to take any medication because I "could" have been pregnant. I would cough so bad that I would almost stop breathing. It would last for about 5 minuets. I was wondering if I was ever going to get better. We went to my mother-in-laws yesterday for dinner and got a blessing from my hubby and step-father-in-law. It was so good that I could ask Issac to give me one. I could tell that he was really sincere in the blessing. I have not been feeling any better today and "aunt Flow" came and so I called the dr. and told them that I was not pregnant so I need some cough medicine YA! I could finally get some relief.

Back to Mothers Day. Issac made me some pancakes for breakfast and then he got me some wonderful gifts. I have been wanting to get Michael Buble for a while so he got that for me. I also asked for a "BIG" muffin tin so I can make cupcakes and muffins. He also got me Michael Jackson's "This is it music". He also got me some canning jars for our apples or tomatoes that we are trying to grow. He was so good to me after he made me breakfast he cleaned up and did all the dishes and then he told me later that he wanted to grill some burgers for lunch. He cleaned up that too and then had the kids help him do the dishes. I could not ask for a better hubby. Love you honey!

Alex had this conversation with me yesterday "Mom where is the baby" I said "what baby" he said "the one that I was playing with". I told him that we do not have a baby. I asked him if the baby was a boy or girl and he said boy. I asked him if he wanted mommy to have another baby so he could have some one else to play with and he said yes.

What the Weather!

What was going on last week. It was in the 40's and it could not decide if it wanted to rain, hale, or snow. Wait what months is this the end of April? I thought that it was supose to be getting warmer. I guess that mother nature wanted to play a trick on us. This was last week I could not belive it.

Kids and there sunglasses.

I was at Target a few weeks ago and found these sunglasses in there dollar section so I decieded that I would buy them for the kids. As you can see the glasses do not really work for Alex. His ears are lower set on his face so the ear peices on the glasses go down. Also he has a short turned up nose so that is another reason that they do not work for him very good. That would be two of the reasons that they think that he has the Cornella De Langue Syndrom. I think they look so cute in the glasses.
